About this supplement
Acacia fiber is a soluble dietary fiber derived from the hardened sap (gum) of Acacia senegal and Acacia seyal trees. It consists primarily of complex polysaccharides, mainly arabinogalactan proteins, which are highly branched and resistant to digestion in the small intestine. This allows it to function as a prebiotic, fermenting in the colon to produce short-chain fatty acids. It is known for its high solubility, low viscosity, and excellent tolerance compared to many other fibers. It forms clear solutions and is stable under a wide range of pH and temperature conditions.

Physical properties
Off-white to amber-colored powder or granules. Highly soluble in water, forming clear to slightly opalescent, low-viscosity solutions. Odorless and tasteless. Hygroscopic.
How it’s made
Produced by harvesting natural exudates (gum) from the bark of Acacia senegal or Acacia seyal trees. The raw gum is cleaned, sorted, crushed, dissolved in water, filtered to remove impurities, and then spray-dried or roller-dried into a fine powder.
