Peripheral Neuropathy

Long-term ingestion of very high doses (typically >1000 mg/day for months or years) of vitamin B6 (especially pyridoxine) can cause sensory neuropathy, characterized by numbness, tingling, and pain in the hands and feet. Risk with PLP at standard doses is very low.
